Born on January 18, 2000, in Luxembourg, Laura Thorn is a multilingual artist fluent in French, Luxembourgish, English, and German. She discovered her passion for music and dance at an early age, training in classical and modern jazz dance from the age of five and studying music at the Conservatory of Esch-sur-Alzette from the age of eight. There, she pursued extensive training in piano, cello, music theory, harmony, and counterpoint, earning multiple first prizes and completing her studies in 2023.

After graduating high school with a focus on music, Laura continued her education at IMEP in Namur, Belgium, where she earned Master’s degrees in Music Theory and Pedagogy, followed by a Master’s in pop singing in 2024. Alongside performing as a solo artist and choir member—including with Almakalia at Eurovision Choir 2019—she began teaching singing and music theory at the Conservatory of Esch-sur-Alzette in 2024. In 2025, Laura won the Luxembourg Song Contest and will represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel.
